About Us OOPS, Inc. is a 501c3, Non-Profit organization; an Ounce Of Prevention Services, established over 15 years ago, by the CEO, owner and Consultant, Mr. Henry T. Armstrong III, a Paine College Graduate, Troy State Masters Education student w/concentration in Criminal Justice and several years of Military Colleges and Schools. Disabled Veteran and Military Retiree w/over 20 years USAF/Ga ANG, certified Drug and Alcohol Counselor, Human Relations Counselor. Several years working with troubled teens with the South Carolina Dept of Juvenile Justice as a Probation/Parole and Prevention Officer. Several years as a Ga. Correctional Officer, P.O.S.T. certified and mental health counselor. While OOPS, Inc. seeks to enhance and support a positive home environment that is being nurtured by the child's family unit , OOPS, Inc. realizes that there are some children who need immediate intervention, before making "costly mistakes", having to appear before a school tribunal, Juvenile court judge or being placed in a juvenile detention center, placed on probation and ultimately receiving a juvenile record which further impedes youthful life's rewards focusing on 4 critical areas or risk factors FAMILY, SCHOOL, COMMUNITY and INDIVIDUAL/PEERS. Additionally, OOPS participates on the Collins Elementary/Middle School Morning Television Show in Augusta, Ga. and does occasional speakouts at other schools, recreation sites, churches, etc.
OOPS, Inc. is currently served by a Board of Directors - President Brandon T. Armstrong, Treasurer Helen L. Armstrong and Secretary Doniko W. Sims.
