presenter(s), literature, activities, etc. responsible or liable for instruction(s), services rendered while program is in session or anytime thereafter. Concerns or issues with child, will not hold this program, staff, consultant, presenters responsible for any inappropriate behavior/statements exhibited by child(ren). Fees must be paid in full before completion of 4/8 week program, during lst wk. Pay arrangements are possible. $50.00 initial cash application fee. Remaining $100.00 balance payment is accepted in the form of personal/local checks, money orders, cashier check, or cash. All personal checks have to be
cleared either before classes begin or no later than the 1st/2nd week of classes. full administrative Fees for participants is $150.00 monthly or make arrangements with director/owner, Mr. Henry Armtrong, as CEO. Court Ordered clients and parents pay a $25.00 Bi-Weekly fee. Summer Fees, $50.00 (weekly). This program is for 5 to 9 and 10 to 16 yr olds. All checks are made out to OOPS, Inc./Ounce Of Prevention Serv.
Exceptions to the program enrolling seventeen year olds(Fees Differ) must be discussed with instructor. OOPS will not be responsible for administering any medications to child or held responsible medically or legally. Any child that removes items from OOPS site without express permission from CEO, STAFF or VOLUNTEERS and after a full investigation by OOPS staff and Law Enforcement, will be charged and prosecuted to the full extent of the law.

PROGRAMS
Juvenile Justice Awareness Program is presented in several segments.
- Definitions; court terms used in the juvenile justice system that students are made familiar with.
- A slide presentation for juveniles showing 4 scenarios involving juveniles in: Truancy, Shoplifting, Assault w/Malicious Damage and Shooting Incident.
- Terms: (juvenile, felony, misdemeanor, truancy, juvenile court,probation, parole, petition,etc)
Juvenile Court Awareness Program is presented and overlaps with the use of the Juvenilc Court Terms as with the above prog. In addition, youth view either slide/video/handout on how terms are applied to juvenile or family court. Youth participate in "You be the judge" exercise, giving youth the oppportunity to imagine being a Juvenile Judge and determining what decisions they would make about a juveniles case. Youth also participate in picking out and reporting on juveniles listed in Thursday issue of local paper. Last part of this programs involves dressing out in the uniform and tools utilized in juvenile court (handcuffs, legirons, bellyirons, and fingerprint card). Youth write or report on impact with themselves and impact on family.

OOPS - Law Related Education
TOP TEN REASONS FOR OOPS LRE Classes
LRE program in Georgia's Juvenile Courts have been successful in deterring further delinquencies. Law Related Education Classes benefit delinquent/non-delinquent youth.
Further, the goals of LRE-understanding our laws and legal system-are as appropriate for adults as
youth. Successful LRE programs have been offered in community settings for adults, generally, or
for special audiences such as the elderly.

2. Students increase their understanding of government, the judicial system, and
their rights and responsibilities as citizens.
3. Students learn to examine issues, weigh alternatives and consequences,
communicate ideas clearly and value the viewpoints of others.

8. Programs for first offender juveniles also demonstrate this positive effect.

10. People function more confidently and successfully within society with better
understanding of laws.
